Workshops for Adults

The Inner Artist

Releasing your

potential

Sometimes we lose our connection to creativity, but still yearn to express our birthright to be an artist. That’s possible for everyone, has little to do with talent and is truly about getting comfortable with play, exploration, spontaneity and making a mess!

In my workshops for adults, I create a space so that participants can connect with their playfulness, spontaneity and vitality. To be a free child again!

When we were young most of us felt free to explore, improvise, imagine and be spontaneous. Creativity was fun, enriching, fluid, life affirming, joyous, conflict free and with no anxiety about end results. Each one of us was a free child. We could dance, sing, play and be messy.

In my workshops there are different inspirational exercises to get participants in touch with their creative flow. A time of play, discovery and a lot of fun!

My workshops empower individuals and bring them together. Using the arts to create a safe, playful and supportive environment to explore creativity and expression.

As well as making use of the art materials available, participants can experience alternative ways of making marks and develop an adventurous relationship with their inner artists.

Courageous expression is encouraged, as well as space for peaceful and meditative creativity. Guidance and constructive feedback is given in a safe and nurturing environment. My workshops are open to all who want express themselves through art. No previous experience needed.

Through a range of stimulating ways into creativity including meditation, music, different materials, environment, discussion, ideas and exercises, participants discover how such sensory approaches can inspire and stimulate their creativity in new and unexpected ways.

There is opportunity for participants to explore the use of chance and accident and find new ways to explore their own visual language. Exercises are done individually, in pairs and also in groups, small and large. Sometimes I invite participants to work in silence and other times I invite different ways of expression that support creativity.
