My name is Catherine Vāse and I am a children’s book author and illustrator. I live in London with Max, my lovely cat. Look at his amazing moustache!
My first book ‘Milly & Friends make a sandcastle’ was published in 2004. This was the start of an exciting chapter for me. Since then I have have illustrated over twenty published children’s books. Many of them my own stories, including ‘The Penguin who Wanted to Fly’. A book that sold over 300,000 copies world wide!
